Wine Tour |
| The wine tour includes a visit to a wine estate that has been run by a local family for 3 generations. They are particularly concerned with the environment and the eco system in which the vines grow and have adopted organic growing methods. |

Hereby an impression of one of the participants…
the wine tasting was a lovely extended affair. After a short tour (with the local major as the special guide!) through the little charming village and a visit to the local church with authentic antique fresco’s we started sampling the local wines of Paolo in his ‘cantina’. Paolo was first a dentist in Milan but started a family company with his wife and father-in-law. They are producing organic wines and olive oils.
The wines we sampled were classified as ‘very good’. The olive oil was served with local bread and homemade salami.
After testing their products we visited the vineyards of Paolo. At the winery we got more information about making wine.
At the end of the day we had to opportunity to buy the local products – so that we could enjoy this tasteful part of Italy when we were home again… |

Programme & Duration |

Visit to Cossignano village and Cantina Fiorano.
Wine tasting with of local food products.
Usually starting at 14.00 and finishing at 18.00 (four hours).
Please note that there is quite some flexibility with the programme and the durantion. Your suggestions, ideas and wishes are always welcome. |
