Uniquely Located Country House

Villa San Lorenzo is perched on a knoll in the rolling hills of Le Marche about 35km inland from the Adriatic Sea and at an elevation of 450 meters.

The villa overlooks several medieval hill towns near and far, Treia being one of them. On clear days several patches of the Adriatic Sea beckon from the East.

The villa is surrounded by 9 hectares of farmed fields surrounding the buildings and complemented by an olive grove across the road. Villa San Lorenzo is available for rental May through September.

There is much to see and do in the local area, with the provincial capital and important university town of Macerata 15 minute drive away. In the summer the open air opera festival at the towns outdoor Sferisterio arena attracts music lovers from across the globe.

The town's centre is home to an elegant fountain in the central seventeenth century piazza, which forms the focal point for the town. Also of note is the cathedral and several other buildings of architectural importance, including a tower and the thirteenth century Palazzo Pretorio.

Situated very centrally the villa is also an ideal place from which to explore Italy in general, with Perugia, Bologna, Florence, Assisi, Siena and Rome all day-trip possibilities.
